I’m Rene Diane, Founder of VYC Studios and creator of BrandUPP™.
My journey in the barber and beauty industry began in 1996 as a manicurist. Recognizing how competitive the industry was, I combined my experience with photography and graphic arts to partner with professionals in building brands that stood out.
In 2009, I launched Your Eccentric Style Barber & Beauty Network—an early digital magazine and industry platform created to connect professionals and increase their visibility. It was ahead of its time, but the vision never left.
I’ve learned that being booked and busy does not always mean profitable—and wearing every hat without structure eventually leads to burnout.
Today, I’m not here to push you to do more. Through BrandUPP™, I partner with barber and beauty professionals to uncover the gaps, strengthen the business behind the chair, and build the brand they want to be known for.
